IDT Energy Rewards Terms & Conditions

Overview

IDT Energy® Online Rewards program ("Program") is a service of IDT Energy, Inc. This Program is provided for all current residential and Small/Medium Enterprise customers of IDT Energy who are active and in good standing. Eligibility for the Program is limited to residential and small/medium enterprise customers who have active accounts in good standing for either electric and/or natural gas supply services provided by IDT Energy. It is not available to New York residents enrolling with IDT Energy.

Points earned or awarded in the Program may be redeemed at any time after 90 days have elapsed from the customer's Program account activation, so long as the IDT Energy account remains active and in good standing. Upon notice by the account holder or by the local utility company of IDT Energy electric or natural gas supply account termination, points redemption activities will be suspended, and points will be forfeited unless the supply account is reinstated within six (6) months of initial termination by the customer.

Additional Program details follow below. All questions or disputes regarding eligibility for this program, the eligibility of rewards, the availability of rewards or credits, and the terms and conditions of the program will be resolved by IDT Energy, Inc. at its sole discretion.

Participant Enrollment

Active IDT Energy® customers and their respective electric and natural gas accounts are not automatically enrolled in the Program. IDT Energy® customers may validate and register their IDT Energy electric and natural gas meters that are active and in good standing online at www.idtenergyrewards.com or by calling IDT Energy customer care at 1-877-887-6866, Monday through Friday between 9:00am and 5:00pm EST.

Earning Rewards

Active IDT Energy accounts in good standing that complete registration and are accepted into the Program will begin earning reward points based on their electric and/or natural gas consumption each month. Points will be awarded based on monthly kilowatt hours (kWh) of electricity and Therms (CCF) of natural gas consumed, as reported by and reconciled with the local utility company. Points will be deposited at the later of 30 days after each monthly billing cycle, or upon reconciliation of the customer's usage with their utility company. IDT Energy residential and small/medium enterprise customers are eligible to earn points starting in the first month of acceptance into the Program. Credits are not assigned retroactively for previous energy consumption cycles.

Redemption and Deduction of Credits

1. Points awarded are available for redemption 90 days after Program account activation.
2. Points will continue to accrue and be deposited into a customer's Program account on a monthly basis for as long as the customer's IDT Energy® electric and/or natural gas accounts remain active and in good standing.
3. It is the responsibility of the IDT Energy account holder to register all IDT Energy® electric and natural gas accounts that are active and in good standing in the Program. Account holders may request to join/link multiple electric and/or natural gas accounts that are active and in good standing into a single Program account at the time of Program enrollment. Customers may also submit a request to join accounts, with approval subject to review by a Program Plan Administrator.
4. Upon notification of termination of a customer's IDT Energy® electric and/or natural gas supply account by the customer or by the local utility, the Program account will be suspended, and points redemption functions will lock. The account will remain locked until the IDT Energy electric and/or natural gas meter is reinstated and the termination order is removed from the account.
5. Upon Program account reinstatement, point redemption functionality will remain suspended for a period of 90 days from account reinstatement. During this time, while point redemption functionality remains suspended, the account will continue to accrue points based on electric and natural gas consumption, and points will be deposited based on notice from and reconciliation with the local utility, as outlined above.
6. When an IDT Energy® electric and/or natural gas supply account has been terminated, the Program account will remain locked, with earning and redemption suspended. The account will remain suspended until new IDT Energy® supply service has been initiated, with new IDT Energy® electric and/or natural gas accounts registered and accepted into the Program. With approval by the Program Administrator, previously suspended accounts may be validated and joined with the new Program account. Points will re-activate, but redemption functionality will not be restored until 90 days have elapsed from the new Program account activation date.
7. Program accounts that remain inactive for a period of six (6) months after the IDT Energy® account termination date will be deactivated and removed from the Program, and all accrued points will be forfeited.
8. Program points may only be used to redeem merchandise from the Program's Online Catalog. Points are not redeemable for cash.
9. Program points do not constitute property of the customer. Customers cannot transfer Program credits to another participant. Reward credits have no monetary value except to the extent specifically provided for by a reward from the Program's Online Catalog.

Claiming a Reward

1. When you have obtained sufficient credits and tenure, you may redeem item(s) from those described in the Online Catalog.
2. Specific merchandise is subject to availability, and substitutions may be made based on availability or market conditions.
3. IDT Energy, Inc. reserves the right to modify the merchandise available in the Reward Points Online Catalog at any time and without notice.

Statements of Program Points Earned

This web site provides eligible participants with detail of transactions, as well as Program point balances.

Termination of Program

IDT Energy, Inc. reserves the right to terminate the Program at any time. If the Program is suspended or terminated, registered account holders will be notified via email, and any unredeemed Program points must be redeemed within one month of the date of program termination.

Participant Program Tracking

It is the responsibility of each eligible participant to use their awarded points to redeem items from the Program's Online Catalog. Awarded credits can only be redeemed for merchandise presented in the Program's Online Catalog.

Taxes

Merchandise redeemed under the program may be subject to applicable federal, state, and/or local taxes. Payment of taxes resulting from these awards is the sole responsibility of the participating customer and not IDT Energy, Inc. or any of its affiliates or agents.

Shipping and Handling

Merchandise redeemed under the program is subject to shipping and handling charges, which are included in the point value associated with each item in the Online Catalog.

Privacy Notice

This web site is housed and operated by Online-Rewards on behalf of IDT Energy, Inc. The information collected on this web site will be used by IDT Energy, Inc. in connection with the Program. Online-Rewards will not provide your information to non-IDT Energy third-party business partners not listed without first obtaining your approval to do so.
